Dissolved mineral salts are found in all untreated waters. These salts are separated as positively charged cationic and negatively charged anion in water. The level of these ions is reduced to very low levels and the purification process is carried out by means of deionization systems.

AQUALINE DEONIZATION SYSTEMS

The deionization system is a process of removing minerals, namely cationic and anionic ions from water. This process is done through ion exchangers, which are in process and are filled with resin. A unity where the cationic ions change is called a Cationic Changer, a unity in which the anionic ions change is called an Anionic Changer. Unity in which both resins are together means that both anionic and cationic ions, called "mixed bed", are removed.

The crude water passing from the ion changer changes the cationic charge (Ca, Mg, Na) with H + ion, but changes the anionic charges (CI, So4, HC03, SiO2) with OH ion fixed to the resin of the anionic changer. OH- and H + ions, given to water as a result of ionic changes, combine with each other to form water molecules. Water that is purified from positively and negatively charged ions has a high purification ratio. The resins that have accumulated ions in the water reach saturation levels after some time. This means that they do not produce water of the desired quality. The renewal of depleted resins (cleaning of trapped ions) materializes with the regeneration process. During regeneration, the anionic resin is renewed with bone and cationic resin with acid.

The quality of the running water in the Aqualine deionization systems is related to many factors such as: number of tanks, quality of the raw water, type and quantity, changing ions.
